100 days 100 galleries; Day 1: Galerie Géraldine Banier, Paris, France

In their site Galerie Géraldine Banier says:
Gallery Géraldine Banier gallery was created in 2010. A place of discovery and new confrontations, it presents about twenty contemporary artists stemming from the emergent scene.

The gallery favors the plurality of the artistic languages. It never stops provoking a dialogue between them.

Me: Hello, I just saw your feed and you have a great selection of artist, I wonder how do you select an artist for your gallery, is there a process that an artist have to follow?

Gallery: Mute

Is this too aggressive? Should I be a little more passive? less obvious? Why they don’t answer?

One of the things that I discover is that galleries barely see a direct email, basically the email address that is in the website is a trash can, so by no way use this address to write something to the gallery, that’s why I decided to direct message through Instagram, but the result, at least for this gallery was the same: no answer at all.

Is it too difficult for them to answer: “Dear starving artist, Go to hell!”?

Tomorrow I’ll try to change a little my approach.
