Flag (After Jasper Johns)

I took this photograph a few days ago and I didn’t know what to do with it, I just loved the way the light bath the cloth and instinctively I shoot it. A few days later in one of my Facebook groups ask us to make an art project using an ordinary object from our house. And I was thinking that this cloth would be the perfect one: At the end it’s just a plain cloth with some stripes, a very easy object to draw.

But that was not the case, as soon as I started to study the object I noted several shadows and lights, an infinite spectrum of shades appear to me and the quest begins.

Here’s how much I advanced after two weeks of work.
