100 days 100 galleries; Day 52: Just Looking Gallery, San Luis Obispo CA

In September of 1984, Just Looking Gallery opened in the Mission Mall in downtown San Luis Obispo.  Now celebrating its 34th Anniversary, the gallery has established itself as one of the premier galleries in the country, featuring original works, limited edition prints and one-of-a-kind sculptures.

Carlos Fentanes (CF): I saw some prints of Dennis Mukai in our posts. Who’s he? The pieces look so traditional Japanese.

The gallery didn’t answer.

And here’s an example of a Just Looking Gallery, yes you just can look because nobody is going to clear out what they show, I thought it was a fair and easy question. It seems that you only can see the show through the windows and actually just looking because you cannot have any interaction with the inside. Anyway, I tried and I failed this time. Let’s see tomorrow what happens.
