100 days 100 galleries; Day 72: Jarmuschek + Partner Gallery, Berlin Germany

Carlos Fentanes: About your show at Position Berlin:
What are the advantages and disadvantages of paper artworks?
Are they cheaper? Easier to handle?
Paper won’t last as much as a painting on canvas or am I wrong?

So, what’s your arguments with paper?

The gallery didn’t answer.

Here we go again, no answer from a German Gallery, is it sounds familiar? Maybe I have to learn German.

I feel an attraction to the German Renaissance: Albrecht Dürer, Lucas Cranach or Mathias Grunewald among others, even if I can barely pronounce their names. They are my roll model on drawing and painting, but when it’s about Art Galleries this side of the world seems like they’re in another dimension. How can I reach them? What should I tell them? What are the questions they like to hear?

The gallery website is on revision and they barely have information about their mission or some statement about the gallery or art in general. There’s no information about submissions.
