100 days 100 galleries; Day 84: Paradigm Gallery + Studio, Philadelphia PA

Paradigm Gallery + Studio® exhibits contemporary artwork from around the world with a focus on Philadelphia-based artists. Established February 2010, the gallery began as a project between co-founders and curators, Jason Chen and Sara McCorriston, as a space in which to create artwork, to exhibit the work of their peers, and to invite the members of the community to create and collect in a welcoming gallery setting. To this day the gallery still aims to welcome all collectors, from first time to lifelong, and continues to support accessible work that welcomes a wide audience.

Carlos Fentanes: I saw your posts and I see happy artists and then I imagined happy customers.
What are the duties of an art gallery if they not make Art connections between artists and the audience. It’s good to find a happy gallery.

The gallery didn’t answer.

It didn’t work. I was being totally sincere and give them a positive review, why do they don’t answer? at least they can like the comment.

During this project I’ve found several galleries that don’t care about any comment in their timeline, are they a gallery where you want to be? I’m pretty sure they’re not Gagosian or White Cube… I wonder what would happen if I try to contact the blue chips. I cannot loose anything even if they don’t answer at all; the same as in this gallery.

Do you want to submit your work? here’s the info:

Artists interested in submitting to the gallery. Please email at submissions@paradigm-gallery.com with your CV, a link to your website, images of your work, and anything else you think is important for us to see.

Well, at least they are open to new artists. Let’s see if they answer a mail. I’ll keep you informed.
